Extract from: MAGISTER, A UNIQUE ANDREA FOFFI SPEEDMASTER SELECTION
TO RELOCATE THE TACHYMETER scale from the rim of the dial and land it outside on the bezel, was considered a trivial change for most people. Actually, it guaranteed an exceptional readability to a chronograph destined for great things. Photographed here is one of the earliest examples, sold in Venezuela on June 19, 1958. Particular notice should go to its distinguishing lume-filled hands: thin batonshaped for the chronographic seconds, dauphine for the minutes and the highly renowned “Broad Arrow” style indicating the hours.
